Pea and Parmesan Hummus with Prosciutto

The perfect snack

Indulge in a crispy slice of baguette topped with creamy pea and parmesan hummus and prosciutto. This tasty treat works both as a delicious snack or as a small appetizer. 

Ingredients (serves: 4-6)

1 baguette, cut into thin slices - need about 8 - 12 slices
250 g peas
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1 garlic clove, grated
3 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp lemon juice
Sea salt & black pepper to taste
6 slices Prosciutto
Fresh basil
Olive oil to sprinkle on top


Put the peas, grated garlic, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice and olive oil in a bowl and mix with a hand blender. Mix until texture is chunky/hummus-like. If it feels too dry, add some water. Season with salt and black pepper.

Roast the baguette slices in a dry pan after that place them on a serving tray!

Add the pea hummus, Prosciutto and top with some fresh basil. Sprinkle some salt and olive oil on top.
